Dr. John Ferrell III M.D.
Dr. John Ferrell III is a board-certified physician specializing in Family Medicine, Sports Medicine, and Regenerative Medicine. As a leading expert in non-surgical orthopedics, he has dedicated his career to advancing treatments that harness the body's natural healing potential.
With extensive experience treating professional athletes as a Team Physician for DC United, Washington Spirit, and DC Power, Dr. Ferrell brings elite-level care to every patient. His expertise in Micro-Fragmented Adipose Tissue (MFAT), Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), and Bone Marrow Concentrate (BMC) has helped countless individuals avoid surgery and return to the activities they love.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Ferrell is a passionate educator and researcher. He serves as President of the Orthobiologic Research Institute, is a Board Member of TOBI (The Orthobiologic Institute), and holds faculty positions at the University of Maryland and Ross University, where he trains the next generation of physicians.
